My name is Scott Clower, and I am originally from Roanoke Virginia. I am a junior at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Although I am taking classes across many different areas of study, my main focus is on business and urban studies.
During my high school years at North Cross School, I was involved in varsity tennis , and was co-captain during my senior year. I was also involved in the production of the annual yearbook, and was the co-editor in 2012-2013. I also have volunteered for several years with the meals-on-wheels program, and have continued to volunteer during my university time at the Fredericksburg Food Bank through the university COAR program. In addition, I have participated in the Appalachian Service Project for several years with my church, something that involves both faith and physical labor.
I have worked for three years at the Salem Red Sox stadium near my hometown, dealing with different concession and customer service-based jobs. For the last two years, I have also worked at a Kroger fuel center during my time off.
I intend to graduate from the University of Mary Washington in May 2017, and hopefully soon after enter the working world!
